Privacy Policy

ShopSEO is the data controller for the processing of the personal data we receive.

When you fill in our contact form, we collect: name, company, email, Shopify URL and your description of your challenge.

We do not collect sensitive personal data. We place no cookies on your device before you have given consent via the cookie banner.

We process your contact details to respond to you, schedule a free intro conversation and prepare a possible collaboration. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) (pre-contractual steps) and (f) (legitimate interest in running a business).

Cookies and analytics tools are processed on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).

We use the following data processors:

• Resend (Resend Inc., USA) — sending contact emails. Data transfer takes place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses (SCC).

• Google LLC — Google Analytics 4 for anonymized behavioral analysis (consent only). Data transfer under standard contractual clauses (SCC).

• Cloudflare / hosting provider — technical operation of the website.

We never sell or disclose your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Contact submissions are kept in our inbox as long as necessary to respond to you and manage a possible collaboration — typically a maximum of 24 months, after which they are deleted.

Accounting material is kept for 5 years in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act.

You have the right at any time to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection to the processing of your personal data.

Requests are sent to kontakt@shopseo.dk. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk).

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption, access control and the minimization principle — we only collect what we need.

We update this policy on an ongoing basis. The version in force at any time is the one published on shopseo.agency/privacy-policy.
